Copyright violation?

I have a carpet cleaning business and have put the name of machines i use, rugdoctor, and have included the registered copyright logo after it. Is this a violation?
Answers:
Yes.

Unless you have a fine print that says "Rugdoctor is a registered trademark of Acme Cleaning Supples."

Or whoever makes it.
Actually, the correct answer depends on the specific contract you have with the provider of the machine(s). While it is not copyright infringement to state the name of the equipment per se, it could lead to such a TRADEMARK suit were you never to get permission from the company for using their trademarked name.
