According to a police representative, if any of us are seen naked we have comitted a sexual offence.
When queried, she said some people would be greatly offended at seeing a naked body.
What monster have Human Beings become when we see our own bodies as offensive? I love wearing clothes, but I feel like going out naked just to defend the false charge against my body.
Answers:
I never understood why anybody would be offended by public nudity. I understand modesty and not feeling comfortable with ones own public nudity, but nudity itself doesn't hurt anyone. Now, barbecuing naked could hurt, but you can wear an apron when you're near the fire. I say go naked.
If that's true, then every parent on Earth would be guilty of a sexual offense.
Thats an interesting fact, but then that is why streakers get arrested, I suppose!
Hmm. Sadly, that is wrong. Sorry.
In your own household and unless there are special circumstances (exposing yourself to small children, not closing windows, etc) you can do whatever the heck you want.
Sorry, but I love to see my husband naked. In our home.
Let me know when and where I won't be offended :)
You can thank the Religious Wrong for such feelings of fright about the human body. They hate sex and are terrified of their own bodies.
yes, I heard about someone innocently urinating outdoors. was charged and now is considered a sex offender. not quite right in my opinion.
Sad, isn't it...people are offended by a nursing Mom.we have become a sad society.. Glad Im not one of them.
Everything was alright until religion got thrown into the mix.
People could be people and not prance around under false pretenses and feel shame about what is natural.
Not unless its a peeping tom who sees your body.
Yes, it's called indecent exposure and you will get arrested. Unfortunately, we have become an overly sensitive society where just about anything offends someone or another.
Parents have the right to moniter what their children are exposed to . If you are running about naked , you are taking that right away from them , if you crave that kind of attention - join a nudist camp .
No way!
In public yes, but in the privacy or your own home!?
Hmmm, having said that my hubby says that to show my body in the home or worse in public is definately a criminal offence!!...
Should i slap him now or later!?
That isn't true, and your police don't know what they are talking about.
If someone flashes you that is a different story.
I guess they are going to start charging all the jocks or females that use common facilities!
Being nude in public is against the law, unless you are in an area exclusively made for them!
Well, the representative is wrong.
If a minor child is exposed to your naked body, intentionally or not, it is a sexual offense.
If you are walking around your home nude and someone looks in your window, it is not.
If you are sun-bathing on a nude beach and a tourist walks by and sees you nude, it is not a sexual offense.
It all depends upon the circumstances.
If you are in a place where your nudity is a private matter or a place where it is permitted, then anyone who sees you is committing the offense - not you.
We live in a society where so many people are all twisted up about sex and nakedness and get it all tied up with decency and the Bible and a whole lot of stuff. Just ignore them.
Be free - in private.
well done dont forget to tell me were and when you will be as i will come and soport you.might get me kit of as well.
If you see Rosie's naked body on the street, wouldn't that be extremely sexually offense to you?
I think that's only in public. If you want to go naked, you can do
so in your own garden, doesn't matter if the neighbours see you.
That police representative is wrong.
To be a sexual offense, the nakedness must be for purposes of sexual gratification. You have to be naked AND be spanking the monkey AND be in a public place.
Sunbathing nude, or peeing on a tree, may be against the law, but they are not as serious as sexual offenses.
Your "police representative" is wrong, in the UK anyway. It would be indecent exposure if a member of the public, so to speak, can see you. It's not a sexual offence. You can do what you like in your own home, just don't do it in front of the windows! Or in your garden unless you have very high fences.
They are ignoring the simple fact that for a sexual offence, you need to have an intention to commit the offence. Your police representative is not very good with law.
