Did you know that a town in Texas, it's official language is now Spanish?

And that illegal inmigrantes can not be touched?

Your opinion please without inappropiate behavior!
Answers:
That's nothing new. I live in Texas. Down in the valley, more people speak Spanish than English. It's been that way forever. That will not change no matter what legislation is passed.

I hate that people take stuff like this and turn it into a reason to be fearful and say, "You see, the whole country is being taken over." Wrong. Like I said, this has been the norm probably since the time of the Conquistadors and nobody seemed to have a problem with it until now. I would like everyone to learn English too but to use this as ammo to get all whipped up into a frenzy is just wrong.
whoa ..lol alot of rednicks are gonna be pissed
i live in texas and im not racist but i think its bullcrap that most of us here are basically forced to know spanish just to make it through the day. at my school the ONLY language offered is spanish. gosh im not trying to be mean but if they are going to be here they need to learn english and stop making us learn their language. someday when mexicans take over texas, im moving far far away.
no god bless america for not being close minded
No way! Nothing against our Spanish speaking friends... but that is totally ridiculous! What town is it? Near the Mexico border I assume? It's disappointing, but not surprising. Most people don't know that the US doesn't even have an "official language".
Sounds kind of pay back if you ask me. We stole Texas from Mexico.

Back before we annexed Texas, the land was part of Mexico. Americans kept bringing slaves into the land when Mexico actually have abolished slavery before the US did. Mexico authorities fought with Americans who kept brining illegal slavery into Mexico and Americans fought back against Spanish 'dictators.' And Americans got their Texas. At battle of Alamos first person to be injured was African American. His citizenship request was denied after the battle. It was pretty ugly stuff back then.
i watched the video and it is indeed a strange city.it is a border town and the majority of the people are mexicans.the not allowing anyone to do anything with illegals is a violation of federal law.it will be very interesting when the first complaint is filed.at some point the law in the city will be changed
