Curfew time?

If an officer asks you to come with him because you are violating curfew...do you have to go? Legally, do you even have to go anywhere with a police officer if you are not under arrest? Also...does anyone know what time curfew is in Texas? (Under 18) I heard the changed it.
Do police officers even make a big deal out of it?
Answers:
Given that there was a bad cop once and is probably another one out there, I would question going with him because he asked. If you are in your home community, then you should know if it is so backbush that it has curfews and these should be published somewhere other than a corridor wall in the basement of city hall behind the filing archives. As for Texas, go to the state website and check it for a state wide curfew. It probably only applies to the cows since they are more precious than the children. (Nobody has sued a comedian for making jokes about Texas children)
No.
If you're a minor and it is past curfew, the officer has a right to take you.

The officer won't do anything other then take you home or most likely to the police station so you can be picked up.
